Andy’s Dog Care is a small, personal dog-sitting and dog-walking service. We only collect what we need to arrange your booking and care for your pooch β€” nothing more.

This site is a simple brochure β€” it has no forms and collects no personal information. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and photos from our booking site, which means those services see standard technical request data (like your IP address) when the page loads, as with any website.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are popular). This uses cookies and collects aggregated, non-identifying usage data. We don’t use advertising cookies.

Bookings happen on our booking page. There we collect only:

  • Details you give us when booking β€” your name, phone number, and (optionally) your address, your dog’s name, and any notes about care.
  • Your booking β€” the service, dates, times and add-ons you choose, and the quoted price.
  • Notification settings β€” if you turn on booking notifications, your browser’s push subscription so we can let you know when Andy replies.

🎯 How we use booking details

  • To arrange, confirm, change or cancel your booking.
  • To contact you about your booking β€” by text or a notification when Andy responds.
  • To care for your dog according to the notes you provide.
  • To send a one-time thank-you and review request after a stay finishes.

We do not use your details for advertising, and we never sell your information.

🀝 Who we share it with

Your booking details go to Andy so he can confirm and provide the care. We don’t share your personal information with anyone else, except a few service providers that help run the site: a messaging service used to notify Andy of new requests, a push-notification service if you opt in, and our analytics provider. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Booking notifications are entirely optional. If you turn them on, we store your browser’s push subscription only to send updates about your booking. You can turn them off anytime in your browser or device settings, and we remove subscriptions that are no longer valid.

We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide and account for the service. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we’ll do so unless we’re required to keep it (for example, for tax records).
