Schedule a Complimentary Meet & Greet

1. Check Golden Gate Pet Sitter’s Calendar regarding availability on your desired dates. (Blank dates signify availability.)

2. If available for your dates, please consult the Description of Services below.

3. Send Gwen an email about requested services. Please provide information about your pet(s) - their kind, age, exercise schedule, special care needs - and your location. Unless you have a last minute need for care, Gwen will want to come and meet you and your pet family before providing a quote for services and confirming an assignment. This process ensures everyone, especially your pets, agrees this is a great fit! 

Description of Services 

All services are bonded and insured and provided according to your scheduling needs. Your pets and home are treated like they are my own. 

Overnight Services 

Overnight services are usually provided in Marin County, but can be arranged in other parts of the Bay Area. Pets cared for in home overnight are usually a combination of 1-2 dogs with or without 1-2 cats and additional small animals. Standard services include:

24 hours of care - most other providers’ overnight services only cover 12 hours. 

1:1 attention for your pets while they are kept on their normal schedules for feedings and exercise.(You can give your dog walker time off while I pet sit for you.)

Securing your home and performing house sitting duties - bringing in deliveries, putting out the trash, coordinating with your service providers, contacting you when an unplanned visitor appears on your property.

Regular updates with photos you can access anytime. Many pet parents especially appreciate the reassurance this offers that their pets are in good company and that a trusted bond with them has been formed! 

Drop In Services

Drop in services are usually limited to San Anselmo, Ross, Fairfax and San Rafael on weekdays. Remainder of Marin County served on most weekends and holidays. Pets cared for are typically 1-2 cats, 1-2 small dogs or other indoor animals. 

Drop in services run 45-60 minutes per visit and typically include feedings, waste disposal and exercise/playtime for pets. House sitting duties such as bringing in mail and deliveries and preparing for trash pick up included. 

All drop in visits are confirmed and summarized via a personalized report viewable electronically by pet parents at any time.
